In the 2014-2015 school year, only 23% of 9th-12th grade students received classroom instruction in music. To us- that is unacceptable. SAFA! aims to provide a rigorous and fun alternative to traditional, school-based music programs. Our curriculum combines "the fundamentals" - for example, music theory, ear training, and keyboard skills - with the creative innovations coming from the DJ and electronic music scene.
